One ‘very special’ birthday performance in 2015 saw one of the world’s most famous stars, Dame Judi Dench, playing a cameo role within the murder mystery production.
CHRIS AND SOPHIE
OUR STORY
Thrilling audiences for over 30 years.
Murder by Appointment was started by Chris Batters on the 2nd June 1992. With his background as an actor and director of many years experience, Chris was approached by a large midlands tour company requesting murder mysteries be staged on the Bodmin Steam Railway. A series of six was initially staged on the moving steam train, the final performance being recorded by the BBC. Following their broadcast of the event, several Cornish hotels contacted Chris, and the company took off!
